The Mecklenburg County HOMES Program provides property tax relief to residents with no age barrier?
Qualifications
Incomplete applications will not be approved; however, resubmissions may be considered if received before the deadline.
Applicants must not be participants in any of the following programs:
Eligibility
The property must be located within Mecklenburg County, NC.
The property must be the owner's legal primary residence at the time of application and consistently for the past three consecutive years as verified by recorded legal documents.
The resident grant recipient's name(s) must be on the recorded deed, title or life estate.
Program recipients must apply for consideration annually.
Income Verification
Applicants should be prepared to provide the following 2024 income verifications if the documents apply to their financial situation:

W-2
W-4
1099-DIV
1099-INT
1099-G
SSA-1099
SSI
Alimony
